TRIGINTA LOVE III; RENDEZVOUS

Authentic Afrikan

“Look here, I still don’t understand why you have to do this to me…”

“What? What in Heaven’s sake are you talking about?” you innocently ask.

“You very well know what I mean…why are you so selfish? What have I done to deserve this?” she says, breaking down to a teary mess.

You still have no idea why she’s acting like this. You’ve woken up and you find her curled up like a puppy at the edge of your bed. She’s sobbing uncontrollably; and like the good old clueless man you are; you try to soothe her first.

‘Don’t you dare touch me!” she hisses, almost biting your head off.

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.

Your hands retreat to your lap and you are reduced to looking at her. She looks small wearing your oversize Ralph Lauren shirt.

Small.

Like something you can cuddle.

Your back is…

Theo: Listen to me Liza. And listen good. You listening to me love? You’re the best damn thing that’s ever happened to me, okay? And I will never ever regret a single second with you in my life

Liza: Theo don’t….

Theo: I will. I will. I always will. I wanted to take you somewhere tonight. But we might have to push that love. I know they’ll come barging in anytime now. I’ll not let go. Not then. Not ever. And when they do I want you to remember that I am yours forever. Forever, you hear me? Not even death can keep me from you. I love you

*audible crying*

Liza: I love you too. I love you. So so much! You are my everything. Forever

Theo: *smiles* Forever

*sound of the door being blasted down*

Liza: One more kiss before we go?

Theo: All the kisses in the world for you love

“Bonnie Elizabeth Parker”

Looking through his camera lens he remembered the words of one Vatsal Surti

The first time he saw her she reminded him a distant memory of falling from a height

Quite frankly all he remembered from that day was a whoosh, and a quick embrace of the solid ground followed by a blackout.

Pretty memorable.

But there was also that moment when he felt his placid heartbeat; for the wrong reason then but for the right one now.

He lost his breath and caught it at the same time

She was stunning

Her smile was beautiful. She was fierce.

She was one of those March days; when the sun burns hot and the winds blow cold.

Summer in the light and winter in the shade.

She wore a white summer dress that threatened to misbehave whenever the breeze teased a little.

She was perfect.

He couldn’t keep his eyes off her face. The elegant curves of her lips. Her brown eyes.

She noticed him looking her way.

And as she brushed her hair from the corner of her eye and smiled the wild flower on her hair fell off.

He took the picture just in time.

She’d stolen his heart.

Wild Flower

She looked away trying to hide her smile.

She was not exactly sure if it was the wine or just her crazy nerves reacting to everything around her.
She tried not to look in his direction.
He was magical.
Like beautiful notes and wonderful beats.

She felt it.

That indisputable surge from every nerve ending through her whole being.
She could still feel him looking her way

Wait, he was probably intrigued by the humongous flower her friends had talked her into matching with her outfit.
